Part 3 – Life Is So Beautiful

Sub-header: You Being Responsible To & You Being Responsible For.

Definition to the term – “Responsible to”:

Think of yourself standing inside a hula hoop and think about this questions.
A small note to take in: You are only in control of the things inside the hoop.
1. Are you controlling the weather?
2. Are you controlling the motion of the wind?
3. Are you controlling the person who is next to you?
4. In future, will you be able to control your child?

Answers:
1. NO
2. NO
3. NO
4. NO

Why?
These are the reasons:
1. you cannot control the weather.
2. you cannot control the motion of the wind.
3. you cannot control anyone beside you.
4. you can never control your child but you can guild him/her along.

So what is in your control?
Well, you have to understand that nothing in your life can be in your control except for you. You only can be controlling your life.

What got these questions to do with the header – Responsible To?
Well, that’s really simple. The term “responsible to” means that you only can be responsible to yourself but not the others or which happens beyond your control. So what is the point of blaming yourself for something that you can never be responsible to? Anything which is in your control is the things that you are responsible to but for those things that are not in your control, you only can be responsible for.

Definition to the term – “Responsible for”:

Try to answer these questions:
1. If you are in the race of Chinese, in the 7th month you do burn papers. So does it mean you are being responsible for the change of weather?
2. If you are in the race of Indian, if you behave badly in the public, does it means that all Indians are blamed for your act in other’s eyes?
3. If you are in the race of Malay, if you give birth too many children and in the end you have no money to support them, does these mean that you are responsible for the misunderstanding of your race in Singapore?

Answers:
YES
YES
YES

Why?
These are the reasons:
1. this means that you are polluting the air and making it to change in weather.
2. this means that your act is showing others that all Indians are only capable of doing such things in the public.
3. this means that your act is responsible for the misunderstanding that many have in Singapore.

What got these questions to do with the header – Responsible For?
Well, simply the term here means that you can never be responsible for anything but you can be responsible for your very own act which others are able to see.

So start being RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN ACT IN A POSITIVE WAY!!!

Part 2 – Life Is So Beautiful.

Sub-header: what is growing old and growing up?

Many say that growing old and growing up are to be in the same meaning. This is not true. There is a huge difference between “growing old” and “growing up”. What is the difference?

Well, what comes to your mind when someone tells you “you are growing old”? Of course you will be talking about your age. But what will it mean when someone tells you “it’s about time for you grow up”? Some may think it also refers to age, but there is where many make the mistake. Growing up simply means growing more in maturity and growing in understanding life.

Everyone knows what it means when we talk about growing mature, but many do slip out when we are talking about understanding the needs of life. What are the needs in life? Loving, Friendship, Caring for Others, and finally it comes down to the word “I”. Loving basically doesn’t mean getting love but giving love. Regardless on whom he is or what he is, you must give love. Next, friendship, this means a lot but sadly some people do not know the true meaning of it. Friendship is not what you get but giving to others. What do I mean by saying that you should give friendship to others? Giving a helping hand, always being there for others and building others with the power of your love towards them is the true meaning of friendship. Third, caring for others, in what ways would you be able to care for others? You do not need to go beyond anything but simple things like messaging them if they have eaten, have they done their homework, or even how their day was. Think widely, how many of us are like that? None. That is why we human find everything hard to do or even being stressed out for nothing. And finally it comes down to the word “I”… What do I mean about this? All I mean is that you should always try to satisfy yourself lastly. Do not hurt others around you for your happiness alone. If you do so, you would never grow up ever.

Life is so BEAUTIFUL !!!

Sub-header: Life, what is Life to you
Hmm... The two answers that many think of are 'communication' and ‘creating a future'...

-Communication: Hmm… From the question about life, people always get many different types of question again and again such as “what is communication?” or “why communicating / what makes communication the key point of making the life easier?” These would be the basic different types of questions many may come up with. Of course many others may have different opinion about this. But this is mine… Communication is a huge word, we may want to break it down even further. In another word for communicating would be speaking. No one can continue life without speaking, that’s very true. Even a mute would need to use sign language to speak, thus this shows how important communication in life is. No on can continue life without speaking/ communicating. So as to keep it short, Communication is the most important need for Life which keeps everything smooth.

-Creating a Future: Well, everyone does create a future, but whether the fact of creating a good future for yourself depends on how you live your life. A good lifestyle is very important. What does good lifestyle means? A good lifestyle starts when you realize the importance of God in your life. He has created you, given a beautiful life to you and made problems in life for you to make you a better person. Next, you have to live a good example for the rest around you “this is not easy to do”. And finally take steps to succeed on what you want to be. Well, it’s easy to say but it’s hard to show it in action. God has created life for one another help each other. He has also created problems for us to face to grow up. As you grow old, when it’s the time for you to sit and reflect back you have to make sure your life is filled with you then being filled with others - means that you have to solve your own problems, thus it makes you to Grow Up! You should always take responsibility for yourselves. In the part 2 of this I’ll be talking about the differences between the terms “Growing up - Growing old” & you being “Responsible for or Responsible to”.

Going towards my goals!!!
What do I really want after my N-levels? Hmm-such a hard thing to decide lor... This is not a easy decision to make! If i really choose the wrong thing, it will affect my future!
Well my goal for L1 R4 is 15-18 points...
English: 3-4
Mathematics: 2-3
Science : 4-5
Combined Humanities: 3-4
Food and Nutrition: 1-2
Well u see if i do the best in all my papers and get 15 or 16, i'll do my O's. But you see getting a 17 to 19 points and going to Sec5 is a risk that i've to take...
My plan actually was to do event management in ITE. Ahhh... I really do not know what is going to happen... But I would really like to sit wif someone and discuss...
This note is for Yu Ling: Thank you so much for the concern... Even after going out of our school, you do care so much for me... I'll do my best okies :)
