Part 3 – Life Is So Beautiful

Sub-header: You Being Responsible To & You Being Responsible For.

Definition to the term – “Responsible to”:

Think of yourself standing inside a hula hoop and think about this questions.
A small note to take in: You are only in control of the things inside the hoop.
1. Are you controlling the weather?
2. Are you controlling the motion of the wind?
3. Are you controlling the person who is next to you?
4. In future, will you be able to control your child?

Answers:
1. NO
2. NO
3. NO
4. NO

Why?
These are the reasons:
1. you cannot control the weather.
2. you cannot control the motion of the wind.
3. you cannot control anyone beside you.
4. you can never control your child but you can guild him/her along.

So what is in your control?
Well, you have to understand that nothing in your life can be in your control except for you. You only can be controlling your life.

What got these questions to do with the header – Responsible To?
Well, that’s really simple. The term “responsible to” means that you only can be responsible to yourself but not the others or which happens beyond your control. So what is the point of blaming yourself for something that you can never be responsible to? Anything which is in your control is the things that you are responsible to but for those things that are not in your control, you only can be responsible for.

Definition to the term – “Responsible for”:

Try to answer these questions:
1. If you are in the race of Chinese, in the 7th month you do burn papers. So does it mean you are being responsible for the change of weather?
2. If you are in the race of Indian, if you behave badly in the public, does it means that all Indians are blamed for your act in other’s eyes?
3. If you are in the race of Malay, if you give birth too many children and in the end you have no money to support them, does these mean that you are responsible for the misunderstanding of your race in Singapore?

Answers:
YES
YES
YES

Why?
These are the reasons:
1. this means that you are polluting the air and making it to change in weather.
2. this means that your act is showing others that all Indians are only capable of doing such things in the public.
3. this means that your act is responsible for the misunderstanding that many have in Singapore.

What got these questions to do with the header – Responsible For?
Well, simply the term here means that you can never be responsible for anything but you can be responsible for your very own act which others are able to see.

So start being RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN ACT IN A POSITIVE WAY!!!
